#1 Listening to Your Inner Guide Visualization

Take a few slow, deep, abdominal breaths… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Focus your attention on your breathing for a few minutes… And recognize how easily slow, deep breathing alone can induce a nice state of deep relaxation. Let the body breath itself… according to its own natural rhythm… slowly… easily… and deeply…

Now take a signal breath… a special message that tells the body you are ready to enter a state of deep relaxation… Exhale… Breathe in deeply through your nose… and blow out through your mouth…

Remember your breathing… slowly and deeply… As you concentrate your attention on your breathing, imagine a ball of pure energy or white light that starts at your lower abdomen and as you inhale, it rises up the front of your body to your forehead… and as you exhale, it moves down your spine, down your legs, and into the ground…

Again… imagine this ball of pure energy or white light rise up the front of your body to your forehead as you inhale… and as you exhale, it goes down your spine, down your legs, and into the ground… Circulate this ball of energy around for a few moments… and allow its circulation to move you into even relaxation and comfort.

Each time you inhale and exhale, you may be surprised to find yourself twice as relaxed as you were a moment before… Twice as comfortable… Twice as peaceful… For with each breath, every cell of your body becomes at ease… as all the tension, tightness, pain, or discomfort drains down your spine, down your legs and into the ground…

Continue to circulate this ball of energy around for a few moments… As you allow yourself to enjoy this nice state of deep, peaceful relaxation, go in your mind’s eye to a beautiful place… it could be a place you actually know.. or it could be a place of your own imaginings. Let your imagination become acquainted with every detail of this beautiful spot… Sense the peaceful beauty all around you… Stretch out… Relax… And enjoy it. Feel your senses enhanced.
Clear your mind and listen to the sounds around you. Make a declaration to the Universe that you want to begin communicating with your inner guide and that you are ready to receive clear answers. Ask that whatever obstacles are present in you be removed so that good communication can take place.

 

When you feel ready, ask a question and wait to see if you can hear or feel an answer. It could be hearing something, seeing something, feeling something. If nothing happens, no worries, consistent practice helps.

Give some space to integrate whatever comes up.

Surround everything with love.

Give thanks.

 

Gradually bring yourself back into the room, open your eyes and stretch again. If you would like - write down your experience.

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

#2 Magical Inner Journey

Before this journey… relax your body and mind with a breathing or progressive relaxation exercise.

Let’s go on a magical journey inside yourself - and to a beautiful place outside in nature. 
It's a lovely warm summer's day and the sun is shining down on you.
You're strolling along a path in nature - just enjoying the wonderful view - the rolling green hills and the wild plant life - the trees - and all the beautiful colors in nature.  The trees are swaying gently in the warm summer breeze - and a songbird’s call reaches your ears.
It's a peaceful place and you feel so calm and so tranquil.  The air smells so fresh - and so invigorating.
Although your body is moving - you feel still - and it's a beautiful feeling - to be so relaxed - and calm and at peace with nature.

You continue your journey noticing and enjoying everything you see and feel.  Soon you notice a slow flowing stream and the sound of the water lulls you deeper into a feeling of awe and reverence - you're walking along the bank of the stream - and feeling quite tired after this walk - so you decide to lie down on the bank and enjoy the sound of the ripples of the stream and the feel of nature.

As you lie back - you can feel the warmth of the sun on your body - it's as though that sunlight is being absorbed into every cell - every consciousness - every atom of your body - it's good to be so relaxed - and quite perfect to be here right now.
And here  - in your perfect place - you feel like you can do deeper into your inner wisdom, your inner self, your inner guide.
All your senses are enhanced!  You feel so good - you feel confident and certain of your own abilities. You feel connected to life, the universe, to everything.  
As you continue to lie here and become more relaxed…you notice a wonderful message of encouragement welling up from within. What is it? You are so grateful for the message. It truly resonates with you. It inspires you!
Take time to let the message integrate within.

Surround everything with love.
Give thanks.

Now bring your attention back while holding those wonderful feelings in your mind - and take a deep breath - a very deep breath - and then sigh - slowly - allowing the air from your mouth - and see a fluffy white cloud floating above you - and written on the cloud are the words - I am calm, I am clear and I am confident - and that's exactly how you feel now.

The letters of the words are written in sparkling, glittery dust - and when you see those words on the cloud in your mind - you can allow those words to sprinkle down upon you - for you are calm and you are confident and you are clear - and so relaxed. Wow!

Now start to bring yourself back -  count up 1-5 to normal conscious awareness - and as you return to the here and now - bring those feelings back with you and let them remain - accessible whenever you want - and so relaxed.
One - you're coming slowly back - two - feeling those wonderful feelings now - growing stronger - three - nearly back - four - eyelids beginning to flicker and five - eyes open and wide awake.
Stretch!  And feel good.
